Who We Are
It's all about Happy Minds! BreatheGirls is a new after-school wellness club for girls ages 8 to 16 years old. Our unique and uplifting program is about building a community of happy girls and draws on the proven practices of mindfulness and positive psychology with a little yoga thrown in! A "Girls Talk" segment also offers an informal and inclusive space to talk about anything that's on their mind.
Our Vision
Our goal is to help EMPOWER girls with a healthy and happy mindset. Through fun and easy-to-learn techniques, girls learn to reduce stress and anxiety, manage their emotions, improve focus and concentration, cultivate compassion and build emotional resilience.
Breathe and Be Happy
Mindful meditation is the practice of intentionally connecting the breath to the present moment. Our guided instruction also combines yoga and "happiness exercises" to help girls quiet their minds and boost their sense of optimism. It's all about training our girls to become happy warriors, one breath a a time!
Program Details
Happy Minds is a two-hour program that runs twice a week, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
We believe a natural transition from the end of school day includes a snack break as girls settle in and literally catch their breath.

Mindfulness matters now more than ever. These are uncertain times that only add to the pressure of growing up under the enormous influence of social media. BreatheGirls is a safe inclusive space that is all about teaching girls the positive power of their own breath.
Happiness Now
Happiness is a state of mind and our program teaches girls evidence-based strategies to literally build the happy muscle in their brains and develop an optimistic outlook. Happy girls are strong girls!
Girl power
We want girls to inspire themselves and each other. Coming together to share their breath builds a happy community and group talks in every session offer a chance to share thoughts and feelings in a safe and positive space.
